Electronic Lodgement
Statutory forms may now be lodged by fax using the fax numbers found under Contacts in our web site. Faxes sent to other than these numbers may not be accepted by ITSA. If you send us a statutory form by fax you must also include in the transmission a cover sheet with your full name, address and telephone number. You should include your fax number and/or email address if you have one. If these details are not included with the fax we may not be able to contact you if there are problems and your documents may not be accepted.

General email communication may also be directed to the listed email addresses. They should include name, telephone number and email address to be used for any response. Documents intended to be served electronically on ITSA relating to legal proceedings will not be accepted unless the above electronic correspondence requirements are met and the service complies with all applicable Court rules.

Your emails to ITSA will use the public Internet, and therefore ITSA has no control over the transmission of your email or any attachments. We cannot provide security for the information while being sent, nor can we ensure your communication reaches us. However, once we receive your email into our network it will be kept securely and in accordance with legislation. Please contact us if you have any concerns about sending sensitive information.

Generally, documentary evidence required by ITSA pursuant to a statutory notice issued under the Bankruptcy Act will not be accepted electronically. If you have received a notice which requires you to provide documentary evidence and you are unsure of your obligations you must contact the ITSA branch from which the notice issued.
